Woman struck in multi-car collision in downtown Hamilton: Police

Hamilton Police say a woman who was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of James and Cannon Streets Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 9) has been rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police say the busy intersection remains closed as the collision reconstruction unit is on scene trying to piece together the events that lead to the multi-vehicle collision.

Motorists may want to consider alternate routes around the area.
