Woman pulled out of burning tent by Hamilton police

Hamilton police saved a woman from a burning tent on Monday (Sept. 16).
The Encampment Engagement Team stepped in after a tent caught fire in one of the city’s encampment areas and pulled the woman to safety.
“In moments of crisis, our officers step up, putting their own lives on the line to protect others,” said Hamilton Police. “We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, courage, and service.”
Hamilton Police’s Encampment Engagement Team is part of the Coordinated Encampment Response Team and works alongside the City of Hamilton to support vulnerable members of our community.
