Woman dead after being struck by car in Mississauga: Peel Police

Peel Regional Police are on the scene of a fatal crash in Mississauga on Tuesday morning (Dec. 14) where a woman was struck by a car exiting private property.
Police said in a Tweet that they were called to the area of Aimco Boulevard and Dixie Road in Mississauaga just after 6:30 a.m. to the crash that is believed to have trapped the woman under the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The major collision bureau has taken carriage of the investigation.
Aimco from Dixie is closed in both directions for the investigation and motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
