Witnesses to overnight shooting in Hamilton sought by police

Hamilton police are seeking help from witnesses following an overnight shooting.
On Saturday (Oct. 28) shortly before 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Upper Ottawa and Fennell Avenue East.
After further investigations, police confirmed that a shooting did take place.
As of right now, official have not mentioned if anyone sustained injuries as a result of the shooting.
Residents and businesses in the area are urged to review their security surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.
Detectives are specifically reaching out to individuals who were driving in the vicinity at that time, requesting dash camera footage to help with the investigations.
