Weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Mission Services in Hamilton

There is another option to get a jab against COVID-19 in north-end Hamilton, where vaccine access and uptake is below the citywide average.
Each Wednesday, Missions Services in Hamilton (196 Wentworth St. N.) is holding a clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in its Good Food Centre. There is translation support for Arabic and Spanish first-language speakers and there is no identification requirement.
Anyone eligible to receive the vaccines is welcome, and both the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines are available.

The clinics will be held each Wednesday until further notice.
Mission Services is located in the L8L forward sortation area, which has the lowest percentage of its population vaccinated out of any neighbourhood in Hamilton. As of the last monthly update from the Toronto-based ICES research group, 54.94 per cent of the population is fully vaccinated and 63.38 per cent have begun their vaccination series.
The neighbouring L8H (57.19 vaccine completion, 64.88 first doses) and L8M (59.25, 66.60) are the other two FSAs in Hamilton that are shy of 60 per cent for two doses. That is out of the whole population, which includes children born since Jan. 1, 2010 who are vaccine-ineligible.
