Motorists on the east mountain may experience some traffic delays on Monday (Aug. 23) as the City of Hamilton works to address two watermain breaks.
Hamilton Water is currently working to repair a watermain break at 270 East 27th Street. Lane restrictions along that street (between Fennel and Brucedale) are expected to remain in effect until around 3 p.m. when work is expected to be completed.
City crews are also working on a break along Queensdale Avenue near Prince George Avenue. Queensdale, from Upper James to Belair Drive, will have lane restrictions in effect until work wraps up around 3 p.m. Monday.
