Motorists should try to avoid one of the city’s busiest traffic arteries on Thursday.
The City of Hamilton says crews have been working to repair a watermain break on Upper James.
Lanes are being restricted between Mohawk Rd. and Fennell Ave.
Work is not expected to be wrapped up until at least 4 p.m.
The Hamilton Police Service tweeted at 7:55 a.m. that “this will likely cause major delays.”
“Consider taking (alternative) routes today,” added Police.
