Watermain break in West Hamilton slowing traffic

For the second time in three days, a watermain break in Hamilton has led to traffic restrictions.
The rupture in the pipes was discovered Monday morning near 998 King St. W., in the Westdale section of West Hamilton. The city’s water department says there will be traffic restrictions on King St. W. from Paisley Ave. S. to South Oval. The repairs are expected to take until 3 p.m. Monday.

Last Saturday (Aug. 20), a major watermain break on Greenhill Ave. in the Vincent neighbourhood led to an advisory to residents to avoid the area for most of the day.
