Wanted federal offender known to frequent Hamilton area

A man convicted of several robberies is now wanted after breaking his release conditions.

Michael Clark is serving a two-year sentence following his conviction for:

• four counts of robbery
• possession of stolen property
• four counts of breaking probation, and
• driving while prohibited, and
• fleeing police

He’s since been let out of prison on statutory release. Offenders are eligible for this release after serving two-thirds of a fixed sentence. During this period, the offenders are under strict conditions and supervision from Correction Canada.

Clark is known to hang out around the Hamilton area. Police describe him as a 36-year-old white man standing five-foot-eleven and weighing 176 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Additionally, Clark sports three tattoos:

• Jesus on the left side of his chest
• “City and MC” on his upper left arm, and
• “Steel” and stars on his right arm
