VIDEO: Vehicle rolls down embankment leading to closed lane on Hamilton highway

One driver is in hospital and police are working to clear the wreckage of a two-car crash that sent a vehicle tumbling down a steep embankment in Hamilton, police say.
The two-vehicle crash happened on Wednesday afternoon in the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 near Highway 6 in Hamilton, the OPP said in a release.
The crash sent one of the vehicles down an embankment, rolling “several times” on the way down, police say.
A video of the scene shared by the OPP shows the vehicle laying on its side at the bottom of a steep embankment.

Police say the driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The crash has closed one eastbound lane of Highway 403 and police say they expect the closure to be lifted around 6 p.m.
