Two wanted after three people seriously hurt Hamilton car crash

Two men are wanted after a three-car pileup crash in Hamilton yesterday.
Hamilton Police announced Eastport Dr. and Beach Blvd. was closed around 8 a.m. on Dec. 4. However, they did not immediately say why. Police confirmed the crash around 10 a.m. saying the two women were hurt. They confirmed three cars were involved in the crash, but did not disclose any further details. The two injured women have since been taken to hospital.
The next day police confirmed the cars involved were a 2024 white Volkswagen SUV, a black 2010 Nissan and a 2015 white Honda. Two people from the Nissan were transported to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and the driver of the Honda was transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators allege man and a woman exited the Volkswagen and looked around. When another commuter pulled over to see if they needed help the pair hopped into the back of their car. The pair said they had a gun and told the commuter to take them to Mead and Tate Aves. about four kilometres south of the crash site by the base of the Skyway bridge.
Eastport Dr. was closed all Monday morning for the investigation but has since reopened. Police confirmed the pair was wanted on Dec. 5, but did not immediately provide descriptions. Later that evening investigators shared more details about the pair.
The man is described as Black and in his 20s. He stand six feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He wears his black hair in cornrows and wore blue jeans, a black hoodie and a black satchel across his chest.
The woman is also described as Black, though lighter skinned. She’s also in her 20s and stand five-foot-five. She was wearing grey sweatpants or leggings and a black coat. She also had prominent makeup and fake eyelashes on.
