Two seniors dead in two-car crash in Hamilton

Two people were pronounced dead following a two-car collision in Hamilton this morning.

Hamilton police say that shortly before 10:45 am on March 22, officers were called to the scene of a crash on Highway 52, south of Powerline Road.

Police say a black Ford Focus and white Chevrolet Impala were involved and that both occupants of the Impala, a man and woman in their 80s, were killed. 

The driver of the Focus, a woman in her 50s, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The road remains closed for an investigation.
