Two motorcyclists penalized for speeding on main Hamilton road

Two motorcycles were caught going double the speed limit on a major Hamilton road Tuesday (June 27).

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Hamilton police observed the speeding riders on Centennial Parkway, Indy Bharaj, the police’s public information officer, told hamilton.insauga.com.

The first bike was going 126 kilometres per hour in the 60 zone and the second was travelling 119 km/h in the 60 zone.

Police stopped the motorcyclists, seizing and suspending their driver’s licences for 14 days. Their motorcycles were impounded for 30 days.
