Two brothers charged with selling cocaine in Hamilton

Two brothers face charges after a drug trafficking investigation in Hamilton.
The Hamilton Police High Enforcement Action Team, or HEAT Unit, have investigated the pair since March. On Dec. 17, the investigation culminated in a raid on a home near Stone Church Road West and West Fifth Street on Hamilton Mountain.
In the home, police report the discovery of 149 grams of cocaine, more than $8,300 in Canadian cash and more than $3,900 in counterfeit American cash.
The first brother was arrested in the home during the raid. He is charged with:
- possession of cocaine for trafficking
- possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000
- possession of counterfeit money, and
- failure to comply with probation
The second brother was arrested on Dec. 23 with help from the Canadian Border Service Agency. He is charged with:
- possession of cocaine for trafficking
- possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000, and
- possession of counterfeit money
Police have not publically identified either brother.
