Toronto man charged in connection with robbery that occurred at Hamilton’s park

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged by Hamilton Police in relation to a robbery that took place at Woodlands Park yesterday (Sept .6)
The incident occurred when officers were patrolling the park, when the victim ran towards them asking for their assistance, around 7:00 a.m.
The victim said that he was robbed in Woodlands Park, located at 501 Barton St E. And as a result, suffered injuries during the incident.
Upon investigation, police say that the robbery occurred within a tent situated in the park, that later escalated into a confrontation where the victim endured threats and was subsequently robbed by the suspect.
The suspect, now identified as Joshua Pilgram was located at Woodlands Park, in possession of a black handgun-style pellet gun during his arrest.
Pilgram faces three criminal charges against him robbery, utter threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
