The real estate market in Hamilton is standing strong despite the recent slowdown experienced by several large markets in the province.

Hamilton secured the 10th spot on the list of the ‘most competitive cities’ to buy a home and in June 2023, homes are now selling twice as fast compared to six months ago.

Here’s a look at the five of the most expensive houses that changed hands recently in Hamilton, as compiled by the real estate website Zoocasa

8 Ridgeview Crt: 

This four-bedroom, six-bathroom luxury bungaloft boasts a livable space of 6,200 square feet. The massive property is located on a private street in Oakhill of Ancaster. The living room features an Indiana Limestone Fireplace wall and the kitchen has custom high-end appliances. This home has terraces that overlook a pool and the ravine. Listed for $3,299,000, the bungaloft sold for $3,500,000. The property also features an in-house theatre, a gym and a bar.


21 Blueheron Lane:

This newly renovated is situated on a spacious 1.4-acre lot backing onto the serene Bronte Creek. It boasts a livable space of 5,000 square feet and has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
