If you’re thinking about what to do this weekend with family and friends, Hamilton has plenty to offer. From outdoor farm fun and movie screenings at the library to comedy shows for a night of laughs, there’s something for everyone. Here’s what’s happening from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8:


September 6

Roller skating at the Hamilton Waterfront

There is still time to enjoy roller skating at the Hamilton Waterfront’s  Pier 8 Outdoor Rink! The rink offers free access for those with their own roller skates, providing a fun way to stay active and enjoy the waterfront views.

Movies at the Hamilton Public Library

Musical Farm Hike at Manorun Organic Farm

Music Together Giggle & Groove is organizing a farm visit to Manorun Farm, known for its organic and regenerative farming. Families can explore the farm, sing and see the animals. Wagons and strollers are welcome. Proceeds will go to the Sharing Music Fund, providing partial scholarships for families in need.

MUDSTOCK 2024

The third annual Mud STock will feature live music, door prizes, games, and one of Hamilton’s top food trucks. Raffle proceeds will go to I Challenge Diabetes, supporting youth and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, cash for food, raffle tickets and drinks. Tickets are limited and will not be available at the door.

September 8

Ancaster Autumn Stroll 

Explore the scenic trails of Dundas Valley Conservation Area while enjoying award-winning wines, craft beers, cocktails, and local cuisine. This outdoor event offers an afternoon of food, drinks, and entertainment.

Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.


Corey B and Marcus Monroe Comedy show

A night of comedy featuring TikTok sensation Corey B and NYC comedian Marcus Monroe promises an evening of laughter. Corey B’s relatable humour and viral sketches, combined with Marcus Monroe’s sharp wit and stage presence, make for a stellar lineup. Local comedians Zahan Khursigara and Joseph DeBenedictis will kick off the show.
