September 20

Sidewalk Sounds

The BIA will host music and entertainment performances this week at the Friday Sidewalk Sounds event. The Cancer Assistance Program parking lot will feature performances by Hayley Verrall, Stephen Foster, Paul Wooton (Low Down Dirty Mojos) and Sterling Stead.

September 21

Hamilton Comic Con

Hamilton Comic Con is returning for another exciting year at the Hamilton Convention Centre. Fans of superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, and pop culture can expect a packed event with exhibitors, movie cars, cosplay contests, and celebrity guests. The event offers an immersive experience for all ages, bringing together creativity and fandom in one place.

Chocolate Tasting & Wine Pairing

Guests will enjoy hand-crafted truffles and delicacies while comparing the flavours of various chocolates and wines. Attendees will also learn about the rich history of chocolate, its fermentation process and sample varieties like ruby, alunga and Mexique. The experience includes a wine-pairing session and cheese platters featuring brie, cheddar and gouda.

Matt Papa Concert

Matt Papa, a veteran songwriter and Christian musician, is renowned as one of the world’s top modern-day hymn writers. With songs like “His Mercy Is More,” “Christ Our Hope In Life And Death,” and “Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery,” Matt regularly tours across the U.S. as a songwriter with Getty Music. A two-time Dove Award nominee, he aims to write singable, beautiful, and timeless songs.

Tlalli Festival

Tlalli Festival celebrates live Indigenous music, dance and ancient culinary traditions honouring the deep connections among Indigenous Peoples across the Americas.

This event showcases a rich cultural heritage from First Nations in Canada to Inca in Peru, Aztec in Mexico, and many more. Kids under 7 enter for free; however, attendees must note that no dogs are permitted at the event.

Too Many Zooz

Catch global sensations Too Many Zooz as they perform at Mills Hardware. Known for their unique style, this brasshouse trio blends jazz, punk rock, EDM and house music.

Telling Tales Festival

Experience the magic when stories, nature, and art come together at the two-day Telling Tales Festival this fall at Royal Botanical Gardens. September 22

Historic Cooking Workshop: Fall Harvest

Gather your friends for a memorable fall harvest at the Historic Cooking Workshop in the Historic Kitchen Garden at Dundurn Castle. In this unique, hands-on experience, participants can use fresh garden produce to try their hand at autumn-inspired 19th-century recipes.

Train Days with the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers

It’s full steam ahead to family fun at the Museum of Steam & Technology. Visitors can ride a miniature train operated by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers and explore model engines running on the miniature railroad track. Attendees can also check out the Pumphouse to learn about Hamilton’s first Waterworks, built in 1859.
