Suspect who stole from Hamilton store at knifepoint still at large: Police

Police say a suspect who allegedly brandished a knife before stealing products from a Hamilton business is still at large several months later.

Hamilton police say that on Oct. 29, 2023, an individual entered a commercial business in the Main Street East and Sanford Avenue area, took out a knife and stole property.

Police allege the suspect fled on a bicycle, travelling northbound on Sanford Avenue from Main Street and westbound along Aikman Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male who is approximately 25 years old. He has a slim build and was last seen wearing a black hat with a white circle logo, a black North Face jacket and a blue bandana that was covering his face. He was riding a blue BMX bike with a white seat.
