Surveillance footage could lead to break in Hamilton stabbing investigation

Police are reaching out to witnesses or anyone with video footage of a daylight stabbing in Hamilton this week.

Around 1 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 14), an injured man walked into a business in the area of Kinrade Avenue and Barton Street North asking for help, the Hamilton Police Service says.

Police say the man requested assistance after being stabbed in the back, and the 39-year-old victim was transported to hospital in stable condition.

No suspect description has been released and police are asking residents and businesses in the area of Kinrade Avenue and Barton Street North to check any surveillance cameras or dashcams that may have captured the incident.
