Snow is on its way to Hamilton this weekend

Hamilton could see a significant sprinkling of the white stuff this weekend following a week of high winds and almost balmy weather.
According to several forecasts, Hamilton could see upwards of 10 cm of snowfall on Saturday (Dec. 18), just one week before Christmas.
Environment Canada said that the snow is expected to start early Saturday and taper off later in the morning and early afternoon.
The national weather agency pegs the total amount in the 4 cm range while The Weather Network said upwards of 10 cm is possible in parts of Ontario.
Will the snow stick around for the big day? With temperatures consistently hovering around the freezing mark for the rest of the week, with several dips into the minus temperatures, it’s certainly possible.
The long-range forecast, though, shows snow both Wednesday and Thursday so those of us dreaming of a white Christmas might get our wish.
