Search underway for suspicious car in Hamilton

A search is ongoing for a suspicious car last seen in a residential Hamilton neighbourhood.

According to Hamilton Police, the red sedan was last seen around 1 or 2 p.m. on Nov. 5 near Sumach St. and Melvin Ave. While police did not share why they were looking for the car, they did confirm they wanted to speak to the driver.

They’ve asked anyone with information about the vehicle, or security footage of the area around the time it was spotted, to come forward. The driver, or anyone with information about their identity or the car’s whereabouts can call police at 905-546-2963 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
