A search is underway for a man reported missing since March in Hamilton.
Robert O’Toole, 31, was last seen near Vine Street on March 23. The area is a short street just north of Highway 8 and between Bay Street and James Street. It’s a mix of residential and industrial properties.
“Both family and friends have raised concerns regarding Robert’s mental health, noting a significant decline since their last interaction,” wrote Hamilton Police.
The family told police this is the longest they have gone without contact with O’Toole “causing great concern for his well-being.”
O’Toole is known to walk along Highway 403 from downtown Hamilton to Fiddler’s Green Road and Amberley Boulevard in Ancaster. According to Google Maps, this is a roughly 15-kilometre, three-hour walk.
Police describe O’Toole as a white man standing five-foot-eleven and weight 161 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and may have a beard.
