Road closure: Crash involving unknown number of vehicles shuts down major route in Hamilton

A crash involving an unknown number of vehicles led to the closure of major roadways in Hamilton early Sunday morning.

Hamilton Police said in a social media post shortly after 2:30 a.m. that Upper Centennial Parkway was closed between Mud Street East and Green Mountain Road for a collision investigation.

Police have not indicated how many vehicles were involved, how many people— if any— were hurt, or the extent of their injuries.

Investigators say the probe is in its early stages and more information will be released as it becomes available.
