Portion Westbound 403 in Hamilton closed for police investigation

A police investigation has closed a portion of Highway 403 in Hamilton on Tuesday (Nov. 30).
The OPP Highway Safety Division tweeted that all lanes of the westbound 403 near Main Street East are closed for the investigation, the nature of which is yet to be disclosed.
Traffic is currently being diverted off the roadway at Main.
Reports suggest that a pedestrian has been struck.
Motorists may want to consider an alternate route in the meantime or should expect lengthy delays.
UPDATE: A collision on the eastbound 403 in the area near the police investigation has occurred. The eastbound 403 near Main has blocked one lane, police report.
