A popular Canadian cannabis retailer is setting up shop right in the heart of downtown Hamilton and they open this week.
Tokyo Smoke, which already has a storefront in Hamilton on Rymal Road near Upper Centennial which opened earlier this year, will be opening their doors to their second location in the city Wednesday (July 22).
Their new shop, at 235 James St. N, will open at 9 a.m. and will welcome shoppers with enhanced health and safety protocols in place to ensure safety and comfort.
Visitors to the store will be treated to swag, while supplies last.
They’ll also offer their click and collect service which allows customers to shop online and pick-up in store.
This will be the fourth Tokyo Smoke store in Southwestern Ontario, including locations in Cambridge and London and plans for fifth in Brantford opening soon.
Tokyo Smoke has developed a reputation for creating an accessible and informative environment for new and experienced cannabis users. Their website provides a wealth of information on cannabis consumption and safety.
“Store Manager Tarace Parlee and her team look forward to bringing a new, immersive guest experience which takes an education-first approach to cannabis retail,” a press release announcing the opening, says.
“The team also looks forward to introducing the community to the full range of cannabis formats — including Houseplant Grapefruit and other recently released cannabis-infused beverages, and Tokyo Smoke Luma, the brand’s premium closed-loop vape system.”
Tokyo Smoke has designed an ‘Intent System’ (Go, Rise, Equalize, Ease and Pause) that helps experienced and inexperienced shoppers alike identify the specific strains of cannabis according to their intended uses.
