The developer for a new pre-construction stacked townhome community has begun selling condo suites starting at $499,990 in Hamilton.
Interlude Townhomes’ one- and three-bedroom suites sell for up to $899,990. It’s situated at 185 Burke St. in Waterdown, near transit, a quaint downtown for shopping and entertainment, recreation facilities, conservation areas, parks, hiking, rivers and waterfalls. During the summer, the Waterdown Farmers’ Market runs weekly. The townhomes are 10 minutes from Aldershot Go station and near Highway 403 and 407.
The estimated occupancy for the 92 contemporary suites starts in the summer of 2025. Suites have open-concept living areas.
One-level spaces offer “condo-style living” featuring one bedroom and one bathroom on the ground level, and direct outdoor and garage access. A suite called Harmony is 672 square feet. The Allegro suite is 795 square feet and includes a den.
Another option is the three-bedroom, two-storey suites with two-and-a-half baths, an outdoor terrace and a garage. The Serenade suite is 1,362 square feet with a 160-square-foot terrace. The Melody suite is 1,484 square feet with a 144-square-foot terrace. The Crescendo is 1,596 square feet with a 387-square-foot terrace.
Condo fees are estimated at $200 per month. The fees include visitor parking, shared parkette, maintenance of common elements such as roads and sidewalks, insurance for townhome exteriors and common elements, landscaping and snow removal.
For bonus features, the townhomes have contemporary vinyl plank flooring throughout the suites, development charges are capped at $3,000, and a free assignment, a legal contract allowing one party to transfer rights of the property to another person.
Six appliances are installed in the home, including a fridge and freezer, glass-top stove, dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, washer and dryer.
