Over 500 homes and businesses hit by power outage in Hamilton

Crews have been dispatched to make repairs following a power outage in Hamilton on Thursday evening.
Starting around 8:16 p.m., Alectra Utilities confirmed that 540 hydro customers are without power in the area of Upper Paradise to Garth between Stone Church and The Linc.
The cause of the outage is believed to be an underground distribution problem.
Power is estimated to return by 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
