Update: All power was restored at approximately 3:30 p.m. in Hamilton.

A power outage in Hamilton is impacting 670 homes and businesses in Hamilton this afternoon (Sept. 1).

The outage has affected residents in the Barton St E. to King St E., from Parkdale Ave. S. to Lake Ave. N. and the area of King St. E. to Glover Mountain Rd from Greenhill Ave.to Centennial Pkwy.

Alectra Uilties have dispatched crews to the above specified areas.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the outage.
The estimated time of restoration is set at 6:30 p.m.
