Update: Power has been restored in all homes and businesses in Hamilton

Update: Alectra Utilities put out an update on X (formerly Twitter) stating that all power has been restored in Hamilton at 5:22 p.m.
A power outage that was initially affecting 387 homes and businesses, is now impacting 128 residents in Hamilton this afternoon (Sept. 27).
According to Alectra Utilities, the outage is presently a limited one in the Paramount Dr. area of Stoney Creek.
The outage was caused due to an underground distribution problem and crews have been dispatched to make repairs.
The estimated time for power restoration is set at 6 p.m.
