The OPP has set the date for their 25th annual Operation Good Neighbour food drive.
The Burlington OPP Detachment and Hamilton Paramedics have joined forces to host the drive at three Fortino’s grocery stores from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 9 and 10. The three locations are;
- 1579 Main Street West (Hamilton)
- 54 Wilson Street West (Ancaster)
- 21 Upper Centennial Parkway (Stoney Creek)
Residents can bring any non-perishable food or cash to these locations for donations to the Neighbour to Neighbour (N2N) Centre in Hamilton.
“For over 30 years, the N2N staff and volunteers have been helping to improve the quality of life in our community kitchen programs, utility subsidy programs, family counselling and a host of other interventions. Neighbour to Neighbour is empowering people with the tools and ideas that will help to positively change their lives,” the OPP wrote.
Over the last 24 years the OPP has collected $1.6 Million in food and cash donations through this operation.
