Ontario Tourism Summit in Hamilton next week

Tourism operators and other professionals will descend on Hamilton next week for the two-day Ontario Tourism Summit.
The focus for the October 22-23 event will be on “awareness, collaboration, and making it happen,” with tourism professionals from around the province arriving at the First Ontario Concert Hall to “gather, share, and collaborate.”
Day one will focus on areas of workforce and infrastructure with key sessions appealing to human resources, economic development and planning professionals who have to deal with challenges and opportunities with infrastructure across Ontario, while day two will focus on the importance of data and marketing.
“Our industry is ravenous for key current data to allow us to make critical decisions to move our business forward and attract desired markets into our destinations in Ontario.,” Ontario Tourism declared in a news release. “Are our destinations ready? Is the infrastructure in place? Is our workforce in place? Let’s get ready.”
