Mercedes stolen from Hamilton man’s driveway after home invasion

A Hamilton man’s Mercedes was stolen from his driveway after a man burst into his house to demand the keys.

The victim awoke around 1 a.m. on Aug. 28 to the sound of breaking glass in his home. When he went to investigate he encountered an unidentified man. The man confronted the victim and demanded the keys to his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, a luxury SUV. G-Wagons range in price between $183,500 to $460,500.

The man drove the car off headed toward Waterdown Street. The victim was not physically hurt.

Police have asked anyone on Great Falls Boulevard to check their security camera for suspicious activity.
