Massive power outage affecting over 2,800 homes and businesses in Hamilton

Alectra is reporting a massive power outage in the area of Ancaster this afternoon.

Approximately 2,826 homes and businesses are affected.

Crews have been dispatched to investigate the outage, the cause of which has not been disclosed.

There is currently no estimate for when power will return, Alectra says.
