Man with box cutter robs business in Hamilton: police

A man with a box cutter demanded cash from a store clerk and fled the scene in Hamilton West Mountain.

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the robbery suspect. 

They didn’t reveal the name of the business and how much money was stolen.

Police said the incident unfolded on the West Mountain on Sept. 10 at about 9:42 p.m., according to a press release today (Oct. 27).

Brandishing a red box cutter in his left hand, the man allegedly entered a business establishment and demanded cash from the clerk. He fled the scene, heading northbound on Upper Paradise Road, police said.

The man is described as having dark skin and standing about 6′. He has a thin build, weighing between 140 to 150 pounds. He wore a grey zip-up hoodie with white strings and a hood up during the time of the crime, police said. He also wore a silver-coloured balaclava, blue jeans and dark grey boots or shoes.
