Man shot and killed in Hamilton

A man is dead following a shooting in Hamilton this evening.

The victim was shot near Nebo Rd. and Hempstead Dr. in the city’s Rymal neighbourhood, Hamilton Police confirmed. The area is largely commercial with numerous small businesses around.

Investigators warned residents to expect a large police presence in the area for the rest of the evening.

“It is early in the investigation and more details will be released when available,” police said. As of now, they’ve shared no other details about the victim or any possible suspects.
