Man driving blue Honda Civic wanted on suspicion of harassing young woman in Hamilton

A man with short black hair is accused of harassing a young woman, driving his blue Honda Civic and following her after she boarded a bus Tuesday in Hamilton.
Police didn’t provide details on what he said or if he did anything to the victim after talking to her at the bus stop and following her bus.
Hamilton police are seeking witnesses and asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. They describe him as a man with brown skin, short black hair and stubble facial hair. He has a small to medium build. He is about 30 to 40 years old and 5’8 tall. He was wearing dark sweatpants and a dark, long-sleeve shirt, police said.
The incident happened at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The man approached the young female who stood at a bus stop in the area of Barton Street East and Lottridge Street, according to police. The age of the victim is unknown.
After a brief conversation, the victim boarded an HSR bus. The man returned to his vehicle and followed the bus. Police said he drove a 2019 blue Honda Civic with an Ontario licence plate of BZEH 330.
Hamilton police are asking residences, businesses and vehicles with cameras in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
