Major road closure scheduled in Hamilton starting tomorrow

The start of this weekend might get a bit bumpy for some Hamiltonians.

Starting tomorrow (Aug. 11), Birch Ave. is set to undergo a temporary closure between Brant St and Princess St.

The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4. p.m every day, until Aug. 16, for railway track repairs that need immediate attention, according to City officials.

Local residents and commuters are asked to choose alternate routes of travel during this closure.

The railway track repairs aim to enhance safety and maintain the integrity of the rail infrastructure, ensuring the efficient operation of train services in the area.
