Major road closed for building structure concerns in Hamilton

A major road is closed this morning due to concerns about a building in Hamilton.

Hamilton Police said Barton Street East is closed between Catherine and Mary Streets on Thursday morning (May 30).

The City of Hamilton and the Hamilton Fire Department were addressing “building structure concerns,” police said.

There was no further information on the building.

Police asked people to avoid the area this morning.
