Hamilton’s housing market has been steady since the summer months and shows similar trends in the fall, according to a report by the Realtors® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB).

The average home price decreased by 0.7 per cent this year in year-over-year comparisons and as of September 2023, the average sold price for homes in Hamilton is $776,819.

Specifically, detached homes have seen an increase in average price by 1 per cent year-over-year, reaching $851,000.

Semi-detached and townhouse properties have also shown a positive trend, with their average price increasing by 1.4 per cent year-over-year to $693,000.

Additionally, condo apartments have experienced a 2 per cent yearly increase in their average price, now at $505,000.

Zoocasa, a real estate website curated a list of reasonably priced homes in Hamilton that have recently been sold.

59 Beach Rd:

This two-bed, two-bath house has a livable space of 1,500 square feet. It features a spacious living room, a kitchen, and a private backyard with a new deck. The top floor has two bedrooms and a sitting area. The space is located with easy access to QEW. The property was listed for $399,000 and sold for $465,000.


126 Robert St:

This 1 bed, 1 bath semi-detached home has been transformed, blending classic and modern living.
