A jewelry store in a Hamilton mall was robbed in a smash-and-grab last night.
Four men walked into a jewelry store in Lime Ridge Mall shortly after 8 p.m. on Dec 21. The men smashed into the display cases and stole some of the jewelry. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. Hamilton Police were soon called in but by the time they arrived, the robbers had fled.
Police did not share how much the stolen jewelry is worth. They also did not specify which stare was hit, though there are eight in Lime Ridge; Ashley, Fast Time, Howard, Michael Hill, Pandora, People’s, Steel N Ink and Swarovski.
All four suspects are described as young men in dark clothes. They fled in a grey Chrysler 300, last spotted heading east near Sherman Ave. and Mohawk Rd. This last sighting was about a block northeast of the mall.
“Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved,” police said.
