Update: Heavy police activity shuts down part of Hamilton Mountain

Update: Two people have been transported to hospital and one of them is in “life-threatening condition.” Hamilton Police have one person in custody.

Those living or passing through Hamilton’s West Mountain will notice a lot of police activity.

The Hamilton Police Service confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation in the Upper Paradise and Bendamere Ave area for what they are calling a “disturbance”.

“Please avoid the area,” said police.

They added that there is no concern for public safety.
