Heavily tattooed offender known to frequent Hamilton is at large again

A heavily tattooed federal offender is wanted for the second time in six months.

Daniel Hale, 32, is serving the tail end of a two-year sentence for armed robbery. In the final third of their sentence, offenders are released back into the community under strict conditions and observation. Hale has allegedly broken these conditions for the second time. He previously went unlawfully at large back in August.

The OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad announced Hale was once more at large on Jan. 29. He is known to frequent Toronto and Hamilton. Police describe Hale as Indigenous, six foot tall, 169 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar in the middle of his back and on his left forearm. Hale has several tattoos including;

  •  a crown on the right side of his neck
  •  “WASP” on his right eyebrow
  • “Unknown word” on his bottom right-side lip
  • a wavy happy face and 5 dots on his right hand
  • “HATE” on his right fingers
  • “VI” on his right cheek
  • “STREET” on his right forearm
  • “OFF” on his right ankle
  • Anarchy sign and ‘MISTAKE IN ONLY AMIS” on his right knee
  • two teardrops on his left cheek
  • left fingers “letters” and “MOB” on his left thumb
  • “DESIMATE TI” and $ on his left calf
