Two-time defending Canadian Premier League champion (and four-time champion) Forge FC unveiled their 2024 schedule Tuesday, with opening day pencilled in for April 13 at Tim Horton’s Field against Cavalry FC of Calgary, a re-match of last year’s thrilling championship final won by the Hamilton club in extra time.

The 28-game regular season concludes October 19 in suburban Victoria, B.C. against Pacific FC, the only team to win the league championship other than Forge when it beat the Hamilton side 1-0 in the 2021 final.

Forge’s first game against rival York United is April 21 at York Lions Stadium on the York University grounds, with the return match at Tim Hortons Field June 1 in Hamilton.

Forge FC is currently training in Mexico this week in preparation for their CONCACAF Champions League opening leg February 7 at Tim Horton’s Field, with the return leg February 13 in Mexico.
