Hamilton seeking public’s help in identifying possible stalker

Hamilton Police are asking the public for their assistance in identifying a man accused of stalking a woman in the Barnesdale Ave. S. and King St. E area near Tim Hortons Field Thursday afternoon.
Police say the woman was walking around 2:45 p.m. when she was approached by a man in a black Honda Civic who had been following her. After a brief interaction the driver and the vehicle left the area. No physical contact was initiated during the incident and no one was physically injured.
Hamilton Police are asking residents who live in the area to review any exterior surveillance camera footage for the suspect vehicle between the times of 2:35 pm and 3:00 pm on Thursday February 8.
The vehicle is described as a 4-door black Honda Civic with tinted windows.
The suspect is described as having brown skin with short hair and a long scruffy black beard. The spoke with an accent and was wearing a black turtleneck.
