Hamilton police seek suspect in Jackson Square jewelry store robbery

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit is seeking assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On February 24, 2020, a man entered Golden Gate Jewellers in Jackson Square, police say.

On February 24, 2020, a man entered Golden Gate Jewellers in Jackson Square, police say.

Police say that the suspect displayed a hammer and demanded the store owner hand over jewelry. The man was last seen fleeing west through the mall.

The man is described as:

  • Blonde hair, thin beard
  • Slim build, 5’10-6’0,
  • Glasses, black track-style pants
  • Black wool hat and sweater
