Hamilton police search for ‘suspicious vehicle’ that approached youth

Police in Hamilton are searching for a "suspicious vehicle" that pulled up beside a youth in Stoney Creek before driving away.
The Hamilton Police Service is appealing to the public for help locating a “suspicious vehicle” that approached a youth nearly four weeks ago in Stoney Creek.
At approximately 1 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2022, police say a vehicle pulled up beside a youth on Chilton Dr., located in the Mud St. and Paramount Dr. area.
The “dark grey or back sedan with tinted windows” with a lone male driver engaged the youth in conversation before the youth walked away. The vehicle then fled westbound on Chilton.
Police did not provide further details.
The suspect is described as a white male with a pale complexion in his 50s. He was wearing a buttoned shirt.
