Hamilton Police respond to person in crisis at Limeridge Mall

Hamilton Police are responding to a person in crisis situation Monday morning (Feb. 1) at Limeridge Mall.
Police said early in the morning that the mall’s parking lot remains closed off as they conduct their investigation.
The situation has been contained, according to police, and there is no threat to public safety, but the investigation is ongoing.
Motorists and residents are asked to avoid the area for the time being.
UPDATE: Police say the person in crisis has been safely secured.
Upper Wentworth from Education Court to Kingfisher Drive is currently closed and there is limited access to the mall’s parking lot.
