Heather had herself quite a night.
The Hamilton Police Services horse managed to get loose and take a 5-kilometre stroll through a dangerous stretch of road in Flamborough.
Police say the city’s animal control unit was called to assist officers in guiding Heather back to her stable.
In a video posted to TikTok, the horse can be seen leisurely walking along Rock Chapel Rd. with a police escort.
“Not to worry,” the accompanying caption reads, “our officers along with the assistance of Animal Control were able to assist Heather in getting back home.”
Police didn’t provide details on how the horse got loose, but Heather’s stable is located at the Ancaster Fairgrounds on Trinity Rd, along with her fellow hoofed officers.
