Hamilton Police have arrested a local man after several women came forward to report that unsolicited images of them were being uploaded to a pornographic site.

On March 10, 2020, police received several complaints from members of a Stoney Creek fitness club, that women were unknowingly being recorded during their workouts. The images, they found, were then posted on a pornographic website.

The videos appear to have been secretly recorded between October 2019 and March 2020, when the suspect was a patron at a Goodlife Fitness Club, police say.

The suspect is also a former employee of Elements Casino Flamboro.

On March 11, 2020, police arrested a 27-year-old Michael Viny Mikhail from Hamilton and charged him with eight counts of voyeurism and distribution of intimate images.
